an experience strategist's musings on how culture, technology and design drives innovation.
PSFK, along with Needled, brings us an amazing view into the 3d technology/virtual world and how it will effect our lives and the decisions we make. I won’t make this another monologue about the relevance of Second Life, but needless to say I think both friends and luddite critics sometimes lose point about virtual worlds. They don’t see that this all is just a starting point to something much bigger, like the internet was years ago, that’s going to become more ubiquitous, real and..well simply put.. freakin cool.
So back to the point, check out a real world CGI artist’s work to dimensionalize and “see” his permanently attached piece of artwork before he goes under the needle.

Amazing work on the CGI tech side, a beautiful ink creation, and another small sign of a bigger virtual world soon to come. Thanks to Orli for reporting on this @ PSFK.

[...] is a link to a guy who designs RL tats and tests them on a 3d avatar. Also, this is a test of Andy’s trackbacks. :D Tags:Post [...]
