was on hiatus for a time. my family lost someone special to us, my father in-law who was a great inspiration. he had a great sense of humor, gave back to his community in ways that most of use only imagine, a mentor to many and was financially one of the most successful, savvy and prudent people you’d ever meet.

in something of a random tribute, here’s a clip that always reminded me of him, given he was heavily involved in developing and training people during his corporate life. we’d talked about this old training series by john cleese a few time over dinner and it was always something not to far from his outlook on working with folks: cut to the chase, be honest and even in the most difficult of situations keep em smiling. although he was more of a southern wit and charm, the sense of humor, human quality and creativity of these bits aren’t that far from his spirit.

I’ll miss you Ken, you made me a better person and a smarter “businessman” to boot.
