this is old new, but it’s my new years resolution to dive into rcrdlbl, a free mp3 download service that promotes emerging and mainstream artists. indie rock, electronica and alternative pop are the main genres, but as any good website catering to engaged music fans should be, its all over the map. not so suprising, its a venture from engadget founder Peter Rojas.
consider it research for those of you going to this years SXSW festival:
